Welcome to 3-D Thursday and this week we have a fun project for you!!
I made a Christmas Advent Calendar using all kinds of fun embellishments and products!
This project was time consuming but actually very easy to make!
This idea came to me as I was falling asleep one night last week! I had a few packages of Mini Pizza Boxes sitting in my craft room and decided this would be a great way to use up all my extra Holiday Catalog embellishments, Designer Series Paper and scraps of ribbon!
Last weekend I had my semi-annual Scrap & Paper Retreat and got to spend four days with 25 of my crafty friends including one of my fellow 3-D Thursday Design Team members, Sarah Wills!! We had a blast and it was a great opportunity to get ideas and input from lots of talented friends including one of my besties, Amy Combs, who flew in all the way from California!
What do you think about how the advent calendar turned out???
I started with the Christmas Around The World Designer Series Paper and coordinating ribbon and wooden embellishments.
Yes!!! Those 2 3/4″ squares of Designer Series Paper were stitched on a sewing machine by my fabulous friend Sandy Bobo!!
Here’s a close up of some of the squares so you can see all the detail.
The great thing about this project is that you can decorate the boxes any way you like and for any holiday or occasion!
I can’t wait to see what YOU come up with!
